Lethbridge Twinning Society

Our greatest events in 2022
  1. City of Great Falls - The 42nd Annual "Ice Breaker Road Race"
  2. 23 and 24 April, 2022

    Ice Breaker Road Race

After a solid 2 years (Due to Covid-19) the "normal activities" related to the Lethbridge Twinning Society, have been greatly curtailed. It is finally time to "break the ice" and we will be doing so in a unique way! We are going to one of our "Sister Cities" Great Falls, Montana on April 23 and 24 to participate in the 42nd Annual "Ice Breaker Road Race". This low key, fun event gives the opportunity of racing in a one mile, two mile or three mile (and/or combinations of all three) events. 3,500 participants are expected. The last "Ice Breaker Road Race" was in 2019. It too had been canceled for two years due to Covid-19.

Members of the Lethbridge Twinning Society will be attending as will the authentic Japanese Taiko group from Lethbridge, "Hibikiya" as they will perform at the event and other venues in Great Falls. We are always welcomed by the City of Great Falls and our "Sister Organization" the "Advisory Commission on International Relations (ACIR)". You will meet new friends, strengthen international relations between our two communities, get some excercise and perhaps win a prize!

We extend a warm welcome for everyone to join us in the "Ice Breaker Road Race" this year. For more information, please call 403-381-0038 or visit the City of Great Falls web site.
